Cities that I LOVE :)- Part 1

I could say that I've travel quite a bit. So, I've decided to dedicate a series about the cities that I've been to and what I like about 'em....

The first in this series will be a Malaysia city, Kota Kinabalu or better known to the locals as KK.  KK, formerly known as Jesselton, is the caital for the state of Sabah in East Malaysia. The city is located on the northwest coast of Borneo, facing the South China Sea.

I've only been there a few times for work, so I haven't really got a chance to fully explore it. But  there’s something about that city that simply charms me. It feels both old and new at the same time. Even the temperature also seems a bit colder there. And they also have a great natural attractions, be it the sparkling azure sea with its wonderful marine life, or the majestic Mt. Kinabalu that’s easily reachable from KK.

I don't have a lot of pic of the city. As i mentioned earlier, I was there on a work trip. So, didn't have much time to shoot. Perhaps I'll take my family there one day for a holiday  :).

today's and yesterday's news

Got a call from the sales person today. Told me that the color that i chose, titanium silver or bright silver, will be difficult to obtain and will require more time to get. i decided to get the available color, black, in order to get the car by next week. let's hope that everythng will be smooth.

Yesterday, my little brother Ameer broke his bone. the little dummy was playing footbal, trying to be shay given when he broke his bone while trying to stop a shot. At first, we thought that it was nothing serious. But since he was in a lot of pain, I decided to get it checked out. I brought him to a clinic nearby, but the doctor advised to get an xray done and refered us to a hospital. We went to DSH and got an x ray done. Turns out that 2 of his bones near to the wrist on his left arm was broken and he needs to put a cast on. poor guy.....

Booked!!!

There it is. I've finally committed myself to a new car. Just paid RM1,000 for the booking fee. Told the sales person that I will only take the car if I can trade in my car at the agreed price. She gave me the assurance that the price is already confirmed. So, hopefully everything will go well n myself xkena tipu la. After the bad experience that my mother in law had to endure, mmg takut la jugak nak deal dgn salesman kereta ni.

Welcome 2010!!!

Another new year has come. 2009 had lots of memories for me. Some of them are really sweet and some of them are rather bitter. We have a new person in our life now, Izz Zayani and she has been a bundle of joy for us. Then there was my mother-in-law who was stricken by cancer. Alhamdulillah, she will undergo her final chemo sessions soon and all signs points to a good recovery. That's just how life goes i suppose. you need to go through it, good or bad.

Now, bring on 2010!!!

The major thing that we have in the pipeline for 2010 is to move into our own place. Tentatively, we will move in around mid of the year. So far, we have bought/ booked some stuff for the new place, namely a sofa and dining table. The last big item on my list of thing to buy before moving in is a fridge. I've set my sights on a model by Sharp and (fingers crossed)hoping there will be a good deal on that model by the time we're moving in.

It has been ages since my last post. More than 3 and a half year actually. Since then, a lot has happened in my life. Among the major changes were me getting married, changed my profession, and getting my first daughter. I've abandoned this blog as I couldn't find time to regularly update it and whenever I do have some free time, I usually don't know what to write. However, something happened recently that made me want to start the blog again. This is something that will greatly affect the people close to me. I hope everything will turn up to be alright. Insyaallah......

Sometimes I wonder how a seemingly boring day would end up on such a different note. I woke up today earlier than usual, thanx to my sweet darling who gave me a wake up call for subuh.thanx girl :)...Anyway, I was rather groggy this morning. Too lazy to do much of anything.Around 11 in the morning, I went out with my family and the 1st stop was the toyoto showroom. Just checking out when I'm gonna get the new car and to sort out everything to ensure that my parents can pick it up after I'm gone. Then we had lunch at restoran vicchuda, a new Thai restaurant at the new Sunway Damansara shoplots, The food are great, but the drinks are lousy, Can't even taste my apple juice. At least the food was good, at a quite reasonable price too. Next stop was tesco and gosh, there was so many people there. Or at least i thought so since the parking lot was full. But once inside, it was not so bad. Even the que at the cashiers counter are not so long with some of the counters empty. Maybe people just parked their car at Tesco and went to the other malls around the area. You see, the parking at Tesco is free.hehe....

After we're done with the shopping, went straight home. I was feeling really, i mean REALLY sleepy. Went to get some shut eye and slept for nearly an hour. After that, I'm all fresh and ready for the date which really made my day. hehe..

-Got back together with my loved ones
-Had a nice holiday in Penang
-Cousin Pon got married
-Celebrated ney year at Ikano
-Celebrated raya haji at home

hmmm...i think thats all la, The rest u guys dont need to know( or dont even wanna know...hehe)
Life has been quite good i guess. Gonna start working soon. Quite jittery 'bout it, this being my first time to totally shoulder all the responsibilities as an officer. Hope you guys can pray for me..hehe..I got big plans for this year.A lot of changes to my life is gonna happen.Hope everything wioll goes well and according to the plan.adios!
